Privacy Policy.
This policy describes what information JobCurrent collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. We treat your data like it's our own — used only for what we said it would be used for, never sold, and protected with the same care we'd want for our own information.

Scope & who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Cactus Group Holdings LLC, doing business as JobCurrent ("JobCurrent", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit getjobcurrent.com, sign up for or use the JobCurrent service, or otherwise interact with us.
JobCurrent provides AI-powered missed-call recovery and website chat for home service businesses. Two groups of people interact with our service:
- Our customers — the home service businesses that subscribe to JobCurrent.
- End users — the homeowners and business contacts who text, chat, or call our customers and have those interactions handled by JobCurrent.
This policy covers both, with notes where they're treated differently.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly.
- Account & contact info: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, payment information.
- Demo/lead form data: trade type, team size, monthly call volume, average service ticket size, and similar qualifying info you provide when booking a demo.
- Dispatch SMS opt-in info: the phone number(s) you designate to receive dispatch notifications, the timestamp and IP address of your opt-in, and the exact disclosure language shown to you at opt-in. We retain this consent record for the lifetime of your account plus seven years after termination, as required by federal telecommunications law.
- Communications: emails, support tickets, SMS replies, and messages you send us.
Information we collect automatically.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs, device and browser type.
- Log data: IP address, request headers, error reports.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies & tracking below.
Information generated by the Service on behalf of customers.
When our customers use JobCurrent to interact with their own end users, the Service processes:
- Phone numbers and contact information of end users.
- The content of text messages, chat conversations, and intake responses.
- Call metadata (e.g., that a call was missed, the time it occurred).
- Records of bookings, jobs, and CRM updates created in connection with these conversations.
This data is "Customer Data" under our Terms of Service. The customer (the home service business) controls this data; we process it on their behalf. See When we act as a service provider.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Process payments and manage your account.
- Communicate with you about the Service — onboarding, support, important updates, and service announcements.
- Send SMS dispatch notifications to the phone numbers you designate, when you have opted in. This includes new booking alerts, schedule changes, and operational updates. See our SMS Policy for full details, including how to opt out.
- Improve the Service, our website, and our marketing — for example, by analyzing aggregated usage trends or fine-tuning AI prompts on de-identified data.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the content of customer conversations to train AI models for use outside that customer's own service unless we have explicit written permission. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers and subprocessors — companies that help us run the business (hosting, payment processing, analytics, customer support tooling, AI model providers). They are bound by confidentiality and may use information only to provide services to us.
- Carriers and integrations — phone carriers, CRM and scheduling tools you connect to JobCurrent, and SMS routing providers necessary to deliver the Service.
- Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
- With your direction — when you instruct us to share specific information with a third party.
Third-party services we rely on
The Service uses third-party processors and infrastructure providers, which currently include (subject to change as we grow):
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Telnyx (or equivalent) | SMS delivery and phone number routing |
| Anthropic / OpenAI (or equivalent) | AI language model providers |
| Google Workspace | Email, calendar, document collaboration |
| Calendly | Demo scheduling |
| Zapier / Make | Workflow automation |
| Cloud hosting providers | Application hosting, storage, and backups |
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices. We choose providers that maintain industry-standard security and privacy controls. A current list of subprocessors is available on request by emailing info@getjobcurrent.com.
When we act as a service provider
When we process Customer Data on behalf of a JobCurrent customer (for example, processing a homeowner's text message reply through our customer's business line), we act as a "service provider" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and a "processor" under similar laws.
In that role:
- We process Customer Data only on the customer's documented instructions and as needed to provide the Service.
- We do not sell, share, or use Customer Data for our own marketing purposes.
- We help our customers respond to data subject requests (access, deletion, etc.) when end users contact us.
- If you are an end user (a homeowner, for example) and want to exercise rights over your data, the appropriate first contact is the home service business that engaged you. We'll cooperate with both parties to honor your request.
Cookies & tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies on our website to make it work properly and to understand how it's used. These include:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g., maintaining session state).
- Analytics cookies — used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the site (page views, time on site, conversion events).
- Advertising/marketing cookies — used if and when we run paid advertising, to measure ad performance and retarget visitors. These will only run with appropriate consent in regions that require it.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
Security
We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, encrypted credentials, access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you in accordance with applicable law.
How long we keep data
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After your subscription ends, we retain Customer Data for up to 30 days to allow recovery, then delete or anonymize it (unless we are required to retain it longer by law). Account billing records may be retained longer to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including:
- Access — receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to exceptions in law.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection / restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.
- Non-discrimination — we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email info@getjobcurrent.com with the subject "Privacy request." We may need to verify your identity before responding. We'll respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (usually 30–45 days).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you specific rights:
- Right to know what personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and to whom we have disclosed it.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Submit requests by emailing info@getjobcurrent.com. You may use an authorized agent; we will require proof of authorization and verify your identity.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
JobCurrent is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws than your home country. We currently do not target users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom; if and when we do, we will update this policy with appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
